Charcoal Design has created the new branding for the Australian Philharmonic Orchestra, also branded as the Australian Pops Orchestra in Victoria. Featuring a new hand-drawn and unique script, the design was inspired by music – the stylised “P” taking inspiration from the treble clef symbol. The orchestra wanted to avoid clichéd musical references, instead wanting an image that would appeal across the ages, to the older audiences but also the new generation of concert-goers.
